It has been in their product plan for atleast 5 years, so this is not unexpected. It is surprisingly ugly though. I like the BMW X3 the best it looks the most wagon like of the group.

The floating roof/blacked out end pillar thing is getting old fast. Possibly because I don’t like the execution of any of them, or possibly because current car designs just don’t lend themselves to different colored roofs the way cars of 50+ years ago did. It’s the same reason you don’t see two tone paint jobs like this on trucks anymore.

I agree, the execution is usually horrible.

Even if it was well done, applying that same floating roof design to 12 cars of different types of cars where they don’t necessarily work is also a bad idea.

I think I have made a mistake. In trying to be funny, I said something stupid.

I didn’t realize that a bad/stupid way of saying Volvo would be wrong. This was not meant to be anything other than word play; and certainly not mysogynistic.
